This company is extremely vague in it's production and delivery timeline. we ordered a canopy frame and cover on April 28th. I called on Monday to follow up and see when they might ship the order. I was told that I would receive a call from the trucking company during the week when the order was picked and ready to ship and that the cover material will be shipped separately from the manufacturer. I didn't hear anything during the week and followed up with a phone call on Friday. I spoke with Lindsey, (she said that she was an owner) Lindsey was very short talked down to me and treated me with disrespect. Lindsey implied that the delay was largely because of the LTL shipping method. ( LTL shipping is an efficient process, when a shipper calls a trucking company with an order is usually ships that day.) I am convinced that this company does not stock anything and is a fulfillment company only. The cover is being shipped from the manufacturer and I assume that the framing is coming into this company from a separate manufacturer as well and they ship it and make the profit. I have no problem with any part of this process, what I have a problem with is the lack of communication and contempt for their customers. On Friday, I was told by Lindsey that she would get back to me within the hour with a production/shipping status. Lindsey did not get back to me at all. She had someone else email me at the close of the business day 4:28 pm. They also imply that a big part of the delay is because of the shipping process.
Just be honest with your customers, be appreciative of the business that you are blessed to have. Those simple company practices will go a long way. Lindsey seems way to busy to treat customers with respect. The order is about $2,700.00
The bottom line is be prepared to wait longer than expected and do expect excuses along the way...
